E5: Glenn Roy Blundon, Jason Geary, Hannah Blundon
Glenn Roy Blundon was a Memorial University student whose advocacy paved the way for better support for students with disabilities. Greg discusses Glenn’s legacy with Jason Geary, Manager of Accessibility Services at MUN’s Blundon Centre, and Hannah Blundon, Glenn’s niece.
Jason Geary manages the Blundon Centre, the disability services office at MUN’s St. John’s campus, which ensures equitable access for students with disabilities. He also collaborates with staff and faculty across campus. For over a decade, Jason has taught education courses at MUN, focusing on both general and special education. He lives in Paradise, Newfoundland, with his wife Emily and their two sons, Nathan and Tyson.
Hannah Blundon is a marketing and communications professional and advocate for women’s rights, gender diversity, and accessibility in Newfoundland and Labrador. She works as a Communications Advisor with Student Life at MUN. Hannah is active in her community, serving as the Women’s Representative for the St. John’s East-Quidi Vidi Liberal District and on the board of Violence Prevention Avalon East. She also participated in the Future of the Vote program by Equal Voice.
